The Ann Street Gallery presents its newest exhibition Ole!, with an Artist Reception on Saturday, May 4 from 6:30-8:30 pm. This event is free and the public is cordially invited to attend.

The Ole! exhibition focuses on works by a select group of Mexican American artists who are exploring new dimensions within contemporary art and in recognition of Cinco de Mayo. The goal of the exhibition is to celebrate Mexican American artists, their Mexican heritage and cultural pride in the Unites States. Artists included in this exhibition, while sharing roots in Mexico, live and work across the United States blending together their artand cultural traditionswith their identitiesas Americans.

Artists featured in the exhibition include Rolando Briseno, Priscilla Dobler, Tina Fuetnes, Juan Granados Benito Huerta, Tlisza Jaurique, Paola Nunez, Linda Vallejo, Marela Zacarias, and Marcus Zilliox.

The exhibition is on view through Saturday, June 8, 2013. The exhibition was curated by Virginia Walsh, Director of the Ann Street Gallery.

The Ann Street Gallery is a nonprofit art gallery specializing in contemporary emerging and established artists. The gallery is located at 104 Ann Street in Newburgh, viewing hours are Wednesday and Thursday 9:00 am-5:00 pm (closed for lunch 1:30-2:30 pm) and Friday and Saturday 11:00 am-5:00 pm.
